Profesor Stanisław Molski is one of the most outstanding vascular surgeons in Poland and this year he will celebrate the 35th anniversary of his medical career which he commenced and has been developing in Bydgoszcz. From the very beginning of his career he displayed a great commitment in patient treatment and academic education of future specialists in general and vascular surgery.
In the years 2002 – 2010 he was the head of the Chair and Clinic for General and Vascular Surgery at Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. He attended a number of foreign medical training and consultation programs in such cities as Paris, Lyon, Vilnius, Lund and Amsterdam.
Profesor Stanisław Molski has contributed to the development of vascular surgery. Together with professor Zygmunt Mackiewicz they were pioneers in Poland by performing lower limb deep vein valve reconstruction procedures, venous valve implantation, venous valve plasty and vein transposition.
In 2003 he conducted innovative stentgraft implantation in the thoracic and abdominal aorta in patients with aortic aneurysm in the region of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province.
In 2001 together with his wife he established the Non-Public Health Care Centre ESKULAP in Bydgoszcz which provides treatment on a one day surgery basis as well as in a group of specialist outpatient clinics.In December 2011, he opened the multispecialty Eskulap Hospital in Osielsko where he works as a co-ordinator of the Department of Vascular Surgery, Angiology and General Surgery.
In the period 2011-2012 Doctor Stanisław Molski, as the President of the Polish Society for Vascular Surgery, organized the Fifth International Research and Training Conference as well as the Fifth International Congress of Polish Vascular Societies. In addition, he is a member of numerous research societies including the Polish Society of Surgeons, the Polish Society for Flebology and Angiology, the Polish Society for Vascular Surgery and the French Society for Angiology.
Exemplary health care work and absolute devotion to his profession were acknowledged with an honorary badge awarded in 1999 and the Silver Cross Medal in 2000.
A wide scope of interest displayed by doctor Stanisław Molski includes diagnostics and treatment of chronic vascular disease, treatment of aortic and arteriovenous aneurysm, prosthesis infections, primary and secondary prophylaxis of cerebral stroke and anatomical examinations.
